Jessica & Chris’ Golden Hour Engagement Session at Vanderbilt & Centennial Park

There’s something timeless about golden hour in Nashville. The way the light falls across historic stone buildings, tree-lined walkways, and wide-open green spaces feels like the perfect backdrop for love stories. Jessica and Chris’ engagement session captured all of that magic — from the elegance of Vanderbilt University’s campus to the natural beauty of Centennial Park.

Vanderbilt University – Wyatt Center & Surrounding Grounds

We began the evening on the steps of the Wyatt Center at Vanderbilt. Its classic architecture created an elegant setting, perfectly complementing Jessica and Chris’ style and connection. The soft glow of the sun brought out the warmth in the stone buildings, and as we moved through the surrounding grounds, we found pockets of golden light pouring through the trees.

Centennial Park & Parthenon – Sunset & Skyline Views

From there, we headed to Centennial Park just in time for sunset. The expansive lawns, historic touches, and skyline views gave us a beautiful contrast to the architectural lines of Vanderbilt. The light dipped lower as Jessica and Chris walked hand-in-hand, laughing and soaking in the moment. We ended the session with those dreamy golden tones up on the Parthenon — the perfect finale to a session filled with joy, love, and excitement for their wedding ahead.

A Love Story in the Heart of Nashville

What stood out the most about Jessica and Chris’ session was how much fun they had together. Their comfort with one another shone through every frame — from playful moments to quiet embraces. Engagement sessions are about more than just photos; they’re about capturing the essence of a couple’s relationship in a way that feels true to them. And for Jessica and Chris, that meant a mix of sophistication, laughter, and golden light.
