From Vows to Visuals: You’re Responsible For Jaw-Dropping Wedding Portraits

And you thought we were responsible to make sure your wedding photos are dreamy? Well, sort of, but you have ONE RULE that only you and your partner must commit to. If you don’t, you’re gonna look like awkward robots when you relive your wedding day.

Gorgeous wedding photos are ALWAYS a result of collaboration between brides, grooms and us photographers. Let’s break it down!

Your Part: Don't Smile for the Camera!

Stay Connected: Physically and Emotionally: During the bride and groom portraits you must focus on each other, not the camera. Your love isn’t about a “1, 2, 3, say CHEESE!” (barf). Even though we are taking the photos - Y’alls real love is directed to each other, not us photographers. So, be silly, have fun, express your emotions, and stay physically connected. And keep moving while being touchy. Rub your hands on his face. Hold his chin. Have him play with your hair. Give him a little push and pull him back.

Just like in real life if you're being affectionate with your fiancé, your hands are somewhere.  We can’t tell you how many guys try and kiss their brides on the wedding day with one of his arms dangling down like a rope swing just flopping in the wind. And this is where our part comes in. :-)

Giving You Both (and Your Bridal Party) Fun Prompts

We have spent countless years developing prompts and techniques that will have you laughing, moving, connecting, reminiscing, and feeling romantic all at once. Our approach is tailored to the specific dynamics of each couple we work with, whether you're goofy, adventurous, or sentimental. By taking the time to get to know you as individuals and as a newlywed team, we're able to offer personalized suggestions that bring out your authentic selves in front of the camera. And, of course, we always make sure that you're in great light and a beautiful setting to create stunning images that you'll cherish for years to come.

Here is one example of a prompt we used to use. We would ask couples to stand a little apart, not touch, close their eyes, and try to kiss.  They often bumped heads and then burst out laughing [CLICK].  That's the moment!!

Let's collab together and create a collection of stunning wedding photos that will make your heart skip a beat!
